Story

The Crimson Corsairs

Funded by their trillionaire leader, Baroness Redd, the Crimson Corsairs took steps to buy up Colossi production facilities in the hope of using them to monopolise the ichor. 'Minion' Hoplite variants were used by most Corsairs for their thick armour and brute strength, while Redd saved Centurions for herself and her officers.

Any factories which refused were then taken by force by Redd's Minions. Redd herself oversaw each takeover personally, piloting her personal Centurion with deft skill. With the Minion systems simpler than other variants, they produced more quickly, taking over much of the city swiftly. Now, with few factories remaining, who will defend against their onslaught?

Hardlight Weapons

Baroness Redd made her fortune with development of Hardlight constructs. Hardlight could be summoned at will, formed into any pre-programmed shape, and could be changed on the fly. An exceptionally useful technology across many industries, it's made her a fortune - and now she brings hardlight weapons to bear in her attempted takeover of the colossus factories.

Hardlight Origins

The Baroness wasn't the first in history to use Hardlight technology - in ancient times, the Olympians used similar technology powered by ichor. Talos and the Wardens wielded weapons using this tech, but Talos lost his eons ago as he lay dormant. Thankfully, with the Warden recovered and reactivated, these weapons can be raised against the enemy once more.
