An homage to the '87 version of The Fridge from the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero[1] series. Based on the football player William Refridgerator Perry of the Chicago Bears.[2] Midway is the name of one of the city's downtown airports.[3]

"Growing up in Staley, a heavily industrial, working class district of Wor, Perry Midway felt trapped by political corruption and escalating gang violence. Inspired by Clawbber's ability to rise beyond the gangs of Tohoco, Perry committed himself to mental discipline and physical conditioning, ultimately cementing himself as one of Wor's most celebrated athletes. Perry eventually found the opportunity to thank Clawbber when he aided the Guard in an attack by Dirge on Central Arena. Deputized by Clawbber himself, Perry now gives back to his city by helping to train the next generation of Worian Guards."
