Character History[]
Years in the making, this figure offers a huge amount of versatility to build with. Over the next few days we will explore just a small bit of what can be built when you add this guy to the mix. Consisting of 35 brand new pieces and a whopping 12 switch pins this figure is a building beast! We have a lot planned for the Mutant and we are just getting started.
Originally the Mutant MK1 was sculpted along side the Bio-Mass Monster by our good friend Marty “The Godbeast” Hansen. But that figure had to be redeveloped due to cost and complexity. So fast forward a few years and he has been reworked from the ground up. You will still see a few pieces that retain the flavor of the original Mutant but we have really pushed this guy to be a builders dream. Sculpted by our friend Anthony Coffey (Who is a massive talent,brilliant artist and sculptor and a genuinely great person) with design work from several Glyos heavy hitters this guy has been really loved on to bring the best thing we could into the world. The mutant is really a team effort with collaboration from Matt Doughty, Cappy Space, Joe Miller, Marty, Jeremy, and Anthony. Ran through the paces (as Matt puts it) this figure is a playground of new madness to build out your corner of the Glyos Universe!![1]
