Details

Bugmen started with Construction Bugman figures which were built by hand as a Frankenslice-style figure for the March 2020 Action Figure of the Month Club entry. Due to COVID-19 shutting down factories in China, Bugman figures are built by Jesse DeStasio with existing on-hand stock available. This has created many unique versions of the figure for the March entry. No figures will be offered outside of the AFotM Club. Combat Bugmen were soon follow.

Bugmen were later revealed to be the creation of Cyber Mama. They are loyal servants made to emulate her childhood drawings, worship her to no end, and eager to sacrifice their lives in her name. This makes Grasshopper Knight retroactively one of the "Bugmen" besides the Frankenslice offerings in 2020.

Construction Bugman of the digital Bugmen World is an experienced Hive builder and selected to carry the body of Grasshopper Knight to its final resting place.

Stealth Night Bugman

Note: AFOTM refers to the figure as Night Bugman (version 2) in the opening letter despite using this name in 2021. It was renamed a few days later "Stealth Night Bugman". Within the Club the clear Hyper Knight figure was called Jelly Hyper Knight in descriptions, podcast, and polling while later being publicly released as Hyper Guts.
