Capitalization

Is there any reason why "ROBO" and "MAXX" are always capitalized? None of the Toyfinity material I've seen has them formatted like that. --{{SUBST:Nosubst|User:Lp2277/Sig}} 23:28, August 9, 2016 (UTC)

ANSWER: It's a throwback John Kent of Toyfinity does when posting up story details. You will see it often enough over time to match the old profile details on the toy packaging from the 1980s. For example, this is the card back of the original Maxx Steele which shows the name MAXX in all caps the first time it is used and any other products mentioned from the Ideal Toys line (Robo Cruiser, Dred Crawler, Fortress of Steele, etc.) Toyfinity stories do this as well as you can see from a sample post referring to Enemy and others.

Not sure if I was totally clear; I meant why on this wiki specifically the names always appear as "MAXX Zero" and "ROBO Force." When it's done in material like the Toyfinity stories, the entire name usually appears in all caps only once to establish it as a key phrase or brand element, then appears in what is presumably the intended capitalization style ("Maxx Zero," "Robo Force") throughout the rest of the story. It's also always the whole name, not just the first word, so I don't get why the wiki has just the first word in all caps when it really should be either neither or both words in all caps. --{{SUBST:Nosubst|User:Lp2277/Sig}} 03:56, August 10, 2016 (UTC)
Both pages were established by FireChief420. The Wikia system is case sensitive and he had them capitalize "MAXX Zero" and "ROBO Force" when they were created. Possibly based on the previously mentioned material, possibly an unpublished (red) page link had them stylized this way. You would have to ask him directly. While Wikia does allow a renaming, FireChief420 is the admin and has final say. FalloftheMutants (talk) 05:54, August 10, 2016 (UTC)

FalloftheMutants called it. Should it be changed? Probably. There's just so many other priorities still to be taken care of. FireChief420 (talk) 20:29, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Ideal

Information pertaining to the vintage line should go onto a new page titled Robo Force (Ideal Toys). FireChief420 (talk) 01:41, August 5, 2019 (UTC)
